Scandale : Two holiday makers die after allegedly drugged, raped in Mbouda

The children, aged three and five left Douala to spend holidays in Mbouda with their uncle and aunt when the tragic incident occurred.

According to the children’s uncle, he left the house while the children were in a good state but was shocked by what he discovered upon his return.

“When I entered the house, I saw the 3-year-old lying beside the couch. I realized she was bleeding both from the nostrils and the ears. I tried waking her but she did not respond and that’s how I discovered she was already dead,” the uncle narrated.
According to the man, noise from the room later attracted his attention and it was the other child aged 5-years-old old, who was seriously coughing.

“When I realized the second one was still breathing, I hurriedly took my bike to rush her to the hospital. By the time we got to the hospital, she equally gave up the ghost,” the uncle added.

It was at the hospital that a medical checkup was carried out by the doctors.

The results indeed indicated that the children were drugged and sexually harassed through the anus.

While the identity of the author(s) of the act remains unknown, investigations are being carried out to unmask the real perpetrator(s).

But critics are now pointing accusing fingers at the uncle of the children who has categorically refused to name the culprits.
